The Vibe & Aura aesthetic engine manages NeoQN's dynamic theme overrides, layouts, and advanced UI shaders. Access these options via the Settings menu.

Aesthetic Engine Features

Performance Mode

Toggles high-frame-rate rendering optimizations. Enable this option on budget devices to disable background blur filters, animated gradient sweeps, and dynamic layout scaling, freeing up CPU/GPU cycles for smooth reading.

Cover Aura Glow

Samples the dominant colors of the active novel's cover art and projects a soft, animated radial gradient glow behind the book detail sheet and reader header.

Reader Ink Flow

A visual text rendering option that simulates continuous ink absorption. It softens text boundaries and adjusts typeface contrast dynamically, reducing eye fatigue during long reading sessions.

Asymmetric & Morphing Shapes

Enables organic, fluid geometry across container shapes and card surfaces. Card corners and glass panels adaptively morph their roundness on hover or scroll.

Staggered Content Experiences

Renders content grids and lists in an asymmetric, masonry-style format. Instead of a rigid grid, cover cards and info blocks flow naturally based on their aspect ratios.

Glass Opacity Control

A slider to adjust the transparency and alpha-blend values of the glassmorphic cards and headers, allowing you to fine-tune layout legibility.

Card Border Style

Select from thin hairline lines, soft glow frames, double-bezel borders, or no border at all for library cards.

Noise Texture Overlay

Applies a subtle, composite paper or CRT noise texture overlay across all app screens, breaking flat digital colors and cutting screen glare in dark rooms.

Luminescent Readers

Emits a soft ambient light field from the reader viewport based on the novel cover art colors, with intensity sliders to set the desired glow.
