Installation Guide

Learn how to install NeoQN on your Android device safely and securely.

Download the APK

Go to the Home Page and download the appropriate version for your device:

  • arm64-v8a: Most modern Android phones (recommended).
  • armeabi-v7a: Older or 32-bit devices.
  • x86_64: Android emulators or PCs running Android OS.
Note

If you are unsure which architecture your device has, download the arm64-v8a version. It is standard for nearly all Android devices released in the last 7 years.

Enable Unknown Sources

Because NeoQN is an ad-free open-source app distributed directly via GitHub rather than the Google Play Store, you will need to allow installation from "Unknown Sources" in your Android system settings.

  1. Open your device's Settings.
  2. Navigate to Security or Apps.
  3. Locate and tap Install Unknown Apps (or search for it in settings).
  4. Select the browser or file manager you used to download the APK.
  5. Toggle the switch to Allow from this source.
Warning

Only download the APK from official sources like our GitHub repository or release pages to prevent security risks.

Run the Installer

  1. Locate the downloaded .apk file using your file manager.
  2. Tap the file to begin the installation process.
  3. Confirm the permissions when prompted.
  4. Once completed, tap Open to launch NeoQN.
